What can I do if I disagree with the decision of the Value Adjustment Board?

In the event that you disagree with the final decision of the Value Adjustment Board, you may file an action in Circuit Court within 60 days from the date on your final decision letter. Such actions are considered de novo (New), or original actions, rather than an appeal of the VAB decision. Petitioners should seek legal counsel for more information.

(FHS Note: This is from the date of approval of the Magistrates recommendations of the Value Adjustment Board itself, not the Magistrates date of written opinion and recommendation)

Who may I contact if I have questions about the process?

Contact your local County Value Adjustment Board
