Homestead fraud!!

Hello. I have a question regarding the apartment i am renting in Miami Beach. I signed a 1 year lease that started on 06/01/2011 for a 1/1.5 apartment. My coworker had a 1 year lease that started 06/01/2010 and once his lease was up he moved out and i moved in of course. The owner of the apartment lives in new york but he makes my life miserable in every single way that i can write more about in a different email. I always pay my rent on time but he violated the terms of the lease where he was supposed to remove the old living room furniture as we agreed in the lease ( it s on writing) by 07/01/2011 which is 30 days from the day we signed the lease. it s been 6 months and he keeps lying to me about that. he is being disrespectful every single day. I recently found out he is claiming homestead exception on this apartment and widow. But he won't fix my AC that is licking cause is too expensive but he s defrauding miami dade county tax department or property appraiser. I have the original lease signed by me and my landord/owner and i have a copy of my old coworker lease signed by both parties (both one year leases). My landlord claimed homestead exeption for both years 2010 and 2011 and i still live there on almost february 2012...I want to report him. do i have a case? If he was a nice guy i woulnt be spending all this time to make him pay. 5 months ago i got furniture from my sister in law that i keep in a storage paying 150 monthly.. the apartment It s a block away from my work and my wife's work and thats why we are still dealing with this guy..so it s very convenient for my wife and I, otherwise, i would be long gone. so i have a few questions: 1- Is he violating the homestead exception benefit. 2- Since he did not comply with the lease by removing the furniture but i kept paying my rent anyways, can i sue him for using half of my apartment to storage his old furniture. ( 6 months later and is still here) 3- The building has a pool but he won't give me the keys of the pool cause i am not jewish and he told me that i can't go there cause there is times to go to the pool with woman and men....so i can't go....then he gave excuses like he lost the key for the pool. Isn't that a violation of the fair housing? I NEED HELP BEFORE I SPEND MONEY ON A LAWYER...THANK YOU.

A Homeowner's Association or Cond cannot deny access to common property. If you fell strongly about the issue, file a complaint indeed, with the coutny property appraiser in regards to his homestead fraud, or negotiaite with him. Use the complaint as your ace...
