Removal of recorded lien by Code Enforcement

We had a lien placed on our house by Animal Control. We filed an affadavit of homestead and a notice of contest of lien with the clerk of the court. The 60 day period in which the Animal Control (city in which we reside) has to enforce the lien is over in a couple of days. Knowing the lien was placed illegally (Article X, Chapter 2 of the Florida Constitution) the City has no recourse to enforce the lien. My question--how do we get the lien removed from the court records?

You can't get the lien removed unless you hire a knowledgeable lawyer, sue the city and take them to court. At this point the lien is simply unenforceable.
