If I am filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and using FL Statue 222.05 to exempt my mobile home, which is on rented land and for which I pay a monthly lot rent fee, do I need to file a Designation of Homestead Before Levy with the circuit court as additional protection? Also, I had a 30 min. free consultation with a bankruptcy attorney at the Tampa, FL courthouse and he told me that as I was using the FL Statue 222.05 I was able to take the additional Florida Wildcard exemption of $4000.00. Is this correct? |
