can i keep my weekend residence homesteaded

I have a home on the beach (10 years) homesteaded. I bought another closer to work (28 miles away) and use the beach home on the weekends. Can I keep the home on the beach as my homestead property? (Both homes are for personal use only one is homesteaded)

As long as this home remains your primary residence, you shoul not lose homestead status.
