Do both husband and wife who are title holders have to live in the State of Florida to recieve homestead. I am thinking of moving my residence to another state but my husband will still have his residence in Florida. Would my name have to be removed from title for him to keep homestead.

No. You can maintain seperate residences and remin on the Florida title but you will not be able to claim the 'other' non-Florida home as a homestead. The only way to do that is if you are separated and not supporting each other, usually pending a divorce.
