Hi. Thanks in advance to anyone who could help

I'm the owner of a Florida mortgaged homestead. I am wanting to know if keeping the deed on my person's name but filing a residential purchase and sale agreement, against the property at the county recorder's office, to donate the property to a property tax exempt entity, will be enough for the tax appraiser to acknowledge the entity to be the owner and consider exemption of property taxes, without changing deed owners. Thanks

It's possible if you convey the deed from yourself to yourself and the entity, however you should call the county property appraiser for their direction, as they all seem to have different rules...
