Disabled Veterans & Military Exemptions
Florida Statutes provide for several exemptions available to veterans with a service-connected disability, as well as the un-remarried surviving spouse of the disabled veteran. These exemptions require a Certificate of Disability from the US Government or US Department of Veterans Affairs be provided to the local county property appraiser's office.
